Action for Environment extensively works to reduce vulnerability to the impacts of climate change and strengthen the adaptive capacities of communities and the needs of the most vulnerable people. It purposely targets those who are most affected by climate change, poverty, and food insecurity and who rely on pastoral and agricultural livelihoods that are limited by and vulnerable to climate change impacts, especially women and indigenous groups.
The objective of the program is to enhance the resilience and improve the adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities by strengthening and implementing climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction strategies in vulnerable communities that will make a substantial contribution to tackling the climate change issues with innovative solutions and explore ways of adaptation and climate resilience in vulnerable communities.
